Which sources do we use?

We state regulatory information, limit values, testing intervals and approvals only together with their source, and link directly to the body responsible. For us, the following are authoritative:

• the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) in its currently applicable version
• the publications of the German Environment Agency on drinking water
• the DVGW code of practice, in particular worksheets W 291, W 224 and W 270
• the relevant standards, including DIN EN 12671 and DIN 2001-2
• the European Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) No 528/2012

Statements on the efficacy of our products are based on the study by Leibniz University Hannover, where we state the scope and methodology openly.

How often do we review the content?

We review our knowledge and guide pages at least once a year, and also whenever an underlying regulation changes. What is reviewed is the content itself, not just a technical change to the website. You will find the date of the last revision in the footer of each page.

What we deliberately do not do

• We do not state figures without a source. Where we lack reliable information, we say so.
• We do not give legal advice. Our information on obligations and deadlines does not replace, in an individual case, advice from the health authority or a lawyer.
